its 2003 Annual Meeting, TMC's Board of Directors unanimously voted to
develop a request for proposals for a common, internet-based repository
for commercial vehicle diagnostic and service information. To help TMC
better understand the needs of the supplier community, TMC is asking its
associate members to participate in this survey.
ATA
and its state trucking associations and affiliates have joined together
to promote National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. The combined undertaking
marks the first time since the start of National Truck Driver Appreciation
Week seven years ago that ATA and the majority of its federation members
have coordinated efforts to honor truck drivers. Read

Only: The New Hampshire Supreme Court recently held that the
trial court erroneously applied New Hampshire law in denying a shipper's
motion for summary judgment. The case involved a claim made by a carrier
against the shipper for injuries suffered by a third party caused by the

Only: The Federal Open Market Committee reduced the federal
funds rate 25 basis points to 1 percent at its scheduled meeting. This
